Benjamin Hartnell has six years' experience with Unit4’s Public Sector and Higher Education team, focusing on UK universities. He has supported institutions in modernizing legacy systems, transitioning to cloud platforms, and optimizing finance and procurement. Benjamin played a key role in advancing Unit4's Source-to-Contract tools in higher education, highlighting benefits such as transparency and value. His 2025 interim role as Sales Manager for the Source-to-Contract team further deepened his expertise in solution strategy and customer outcomes.

Julien Jacob has spent the past 4 years in Unit4’s Go-to-Market organization, on the Source-to-Contract team, partnering closely with customers to help them achieve procurement excellence. With more than a decade of experience in the software industry, he is passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Julien works with organizations to translate strategic objectives into practical digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that procurement functions are equipped to deliver sustainable business value.

  Jason Bird

  Business Partner – Finance Systems (Project Management and User Services), University of East Anglia

Jason Bird has supported finance and procurement technology at the University of East Anglia since 2008. Since joining the Finance Systems team in 2014, he has helped staff and students use UERP through training and support. Jason managed the University's cloud migration and Unit4 Source-to-Contract implementation, both completed on time in 2026 . He now oversees initiatives aimed at operational efficiency, process improvement, and digital enablement.

  Christian Cornell

  Associate Contracts Manager, University of East Anglia

Christian Cornell joined the University of East Anglia in 2024 and later that year transitioned to the Procurement team as an Associate Contracts Manager. His role was established alongside the implementation of Unit4’s Source-to-Contract Contract Management solution, positioning him at the forefront of shaping new contract management processes and best practices. Christian played an important role in launching the platform and is now a trusted advisor across university departments. He helps stakeholders manage contracts, oversee suppliers, and ensure procurement benefits the institution.
